JT Wimsatt serves both public and private sector clients with a range of commercial, industrial, residential, government and specialty construction projects. This position reports to the Project Manager/Executive.

Candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen/physical and must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States upon an offer of employment and/or hired.

Position Description:

- Provide administrative support to a concrete construction team

- Support onboarding of new employees. Coordinate new hire orientations

- Work closely with corporate Human Resources team regarding administrative support for new hires, terminations and general employee relations

- Maintain various project logs

- Work closely with the Purchasing Dept scanning receiver’s tickets and filing.

- Work closely with the Purchasing Dept scanning orders and coordinating receipt or orders

- Responsible for the ordering and coordination of all office supplies

- May support more than one project at a given time

Position Requirements:

- 3+ years of Administrative experience

- Strong computer skills a must. Specifically, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PP) and Adobe

- Flexible with excellent customer service skills

- Organized with multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Effective communication both written an oral

- Ability to work well as a team and interact with different groups of people.

- Ability to work well on loud, busy, construction sites

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

- Experience and/or knowledge of the general construction industry helpful but not required

Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required
