Eastridge is looking for a Soldering Technician to work for a company in Sorrento Valley.
This would be a long term contract to hire opportunity.

$20 – 22/ hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Soldering Electronic Components: Perform soldering tasks to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) or other substrates, following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Component Preparation: Prepare components and PCBs for soldering, which may include cleaning, tinning, and applying flux to ensure proper adhesion and solder flow.
-Quality Assurance: Inspect soldered joints and assemblies for defects, such as solder bridges, cold solder joints, and insufficient solder, using magnifying devices and testing equipment. Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
-Repair and Rework: Identify and rectify soldering defects through rework or repair techniques, such as desoldering, re-soldering, and touch-up soldering, to meet quality requirements.
-Equipment Maintenance: Maintain soldering equipment and tools in good working condition, including soldering irons, solder stations, rework stations, and cleaning stations. Perform routine maintenance and calibration as necessary.
-Inventory Management: Manage inventory of soldering materials, including solder wire, flux, solder paste, and cleaning agents. Replenish supplies as needed and keep accurate records of usage.
-Documentation: Complete production documentation, including work logs, inspection reports, and defect tracking records.
Education Level:
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational training or solder certification is required.
Proven experience as a soldering technician or electronics assembler in a manufacturing environment.
