Outstanding manufacturer seeks Mechanical Assembler II seeks candidate to provide a wide variety of non-repetitive and semi-complex mechanical, electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations under General supervision on components or subassemblies. Follows methods and sequences of operations in wiring and component installation on assembly units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
-Requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed diagrams
-Uses assembly or blueprints, detailed lists, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, rework, or reassemble units.
-Works from blueprints, sketches, and layouts to perform limited QC including inspection.
-May perform modifications, reworks, and limited testing assemblies.
-Completes assignments with written and verbal instructions.
-Maybe assigned other tasks as required by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of this organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
