What You’ll Do As a Legal Assistant or Case Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Personal Injury Case Manager Duties
- Managing a caseload of personal injury claims from start to finish.
- Communicating with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients to gather necessary information and updates.
- Opening claims with insurance companies and following up on their status.
- Reviewing medical records and bills to ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Drafting demand letters to insurance companies to negotiate settlements.
- Handling property damage claims, such as coordinating repairs or rental vehicles.
- Keeping clients informed about their case progress and answering any questions they may have.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
- Friendly and Easy to Work With: A team player with a positive attitude.
- Experienced or Willing to Learn: Prior personal injury case management experience is highly valued, but not required.
- Highly Motivated: Eager to learn, ambitious, and self-driven.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Able to handle tasks thoroughly with minimal supervision once trained.
- A Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Proficient in Technology: Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to type at least 50 WPM.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
