Very Established regional courier company with over 200+ employees is looking for a part-time Warehouse Sorter that can work Monday through Friday from 4:00 am to 6:30 am at our San Diego location. We are an employee-based, essential courier business with over 30 years of service in southern California. We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a reliable Warehouse Sorter.
Job description
Duties:
-Sorting raw materials, equipment, and finished packages to ensure the smooth workflow of a warehouse.
-Verifying work orders with corresponding item and batch numbers.
-Moving items that are ready for delivery.
-Loading stock onto delivery trucks.
-Reporting any damages to the supervisor.
-Utilizing factory equipment to sort products efficiently.
-Maintaining a clean and organized production area.
Requirements:
-A high school diploma or GED.
-Very reliable individual.
-Experience helpful for stocking or sorting products in a warehouse environment, supermarket, or a similar field.
-Proficiency in stock management and storage processes.
-Good understanding of OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Strong manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks, such as bending, lifting, carrying, and pushing.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to handle adverse situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
