As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead our maintenance team with a primary focus on coordinating and executing apartment make-ready. You’ll ensure all units are prepared to our high standards between tenants while overseeing routine maintenance tasks and preventative care throughout the property.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the make-ready process for vacant units, ensuring timely turnovers.
Inspect vacant apartments, identify repairs, and create a detailed make-ready checklist.
Supervise maintenance staff and outside vendors to complete make-ready tasks efficiently.
Perform hands-on maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance repairs as needed.
Schedule and track all make-ready projects to meet leasing deadlines.
Manage maintenance inventory and ensure necessary supplies are stocked.
Train maintenance team members on make-ready processes and quality standards.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and property standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, with a focus on unit turnovers/make-ready.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, and general repairs.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Availability for on-call emergencies.
