Walter Andersen Nursery, located in the Midway/Sports Arena Area of San Diego, is a locally owned retail garden center. We have been in business for 96 years and are a leader in the garden center industry. We sell plants and garden supplies and pride ourselves on quality plants and materials combined with the highest level of customer service.
We are seeking a full-time delivery driver, Monday - Friday, 9am - 530pm.
The position includes (but is not limited to the following) duties.
- Mapping out daily deliveries
- Loading materials in trucks
- Delivering plants and other garden supplies
- Creating a positive customer experience
- Engaging with customers in person and on the phone
- Doing transfers between our two locations
- Assisting with stocking, watering and general nursery duties when not doing deliveries
- Keep trucks clean and alert management when there is a mechanical issue

Job offer is dependent on DMV record and insurance company approval.
The company offers health, dental and vision, as well as a 401(k) after applicable waiting period. The company also offers vacation pay and holiday pay for certain holidays.
