Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
1+ years of related work experience
High school graduate or GED required, technical school training in maintenance related courses is preferred
Ability to understand and interpret design documents, manufacturer s specifications and written operational procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant/co-worker relations
Be able to take direction and follow instructions
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion
Capable of lifting/carrying a minimum of 50 pounds by applying proper body mechanics
Willingness to work overtime on special projects as required.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new job-related software
