Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensivet medical care to patients (under the direction of a Plastic and Hand Surgeon and a Pain Management Specialist) , including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with the supervising physician to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Perform procedures such as steriod, PRP ,and viscoelastic injections, casting, suture removal, pre-op and post-op care.
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care for patients.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient encounters and treatment
plans.
Experience:
- Limited experience, recent graduate encouraged to apply.
- or a licensed physician assistant with experience in Pain Management, Hand Surgery ,or
General Orthopedics.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently under the supervision of a physician.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients,
families, case managers and other healthcare professionals.
