We are seeking a compassionate, articulate, and professional caregiver to provide in-home assistance to a client with disabilities in the Mission Valley area.
Hours Needed (Full-time/40hr/wk)
Monday - Thursday (10 hours a day)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other self-care tasks
Support client with mobility needs, including transfers and positioning
Monitor and assist with medications, following prescribed schedules
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment
Provide companionship and build a trusting, respectful relationship with the client
Accompany the client to appointments, outings, or errands as needed
Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably supporting individuals with disabilities
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication skills; clear, respectful, and professional demeanor
Physical ability to support mobility and perform caregiving duties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills and Traits:
Experience using assistive devices or adaptive equipment
CNA or related certification is a plus
Calm and poised communication style
Honest, dependable, and compassionate
