Hello!
We are a private home in Poway and we are looking to hire a male caregiver for an older gentleman who is healthy but has moderate dementia. A caregiver that can help with showers and outings and who has experience with dementia/Alzheimer's would be ideal.
3 set days/week = the days are negotiable
4 hr shifts
$22/hr
Caregiver would take the gentleman on an outing and/or to the gym - occasionally bring one of our dogs along (must love dogs)
Needs verbal prompting for ADLs, can forget things/tasks
Caregiver will help with showers 2 x week - verbally prompt/help wash hair
Caregiver will help by shaving face each day - electric razor
Must have valid Driver's License
Please be personable and able to hold conversations with client, he has a great sense of humor.
