Seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist our 85-year-old father with daily tasks, medication management, and transportation to regular check-ups.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with daily living activities:
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
2. Medication management:
- Ensure consistent medication schedule
- Monitor and report any changes
3. Transportation:
- Drive to regular medical check-ups
- Errands (grocery shopping, etc.)
4. Companionship:
- Engage in conversation and activities
- Provide emotional support
5. Other tasks:
- Manage calendar and appointments
- Assist with mail and correspondence
Requirements:
1. 1+ years of caregiving experience
2. Certification in caregiving (CNA, HHA, or equivalent)
3. Reliable transportation
4. Patience, empathy, and understanding of elderly needs
5. Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working with seniors with dementia or Alzheimer's
2. Knowledge of medication management
3. First aid/CPR certification
Schedule:
- Flexible schedule (full-time/part-time)
- Overnight care may be required
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate ($25/hour)
