Government Construction Site Safety Health Officer SSHO
The Site Safety Health Officer shall possess recent responsible experience in managing the operation and maintenance of general construction projects within the boundaries of US Military installations. Preference for candidates with five plus experience managing similar type government contracts. Must be able to pass Federal Background Investigation.

Officer (SSHO)
The SSHO must provide a Safety oversight program that includes a minimum of oversight on several concurrent projects. The SSHO will have the primary duty and responsibility is to prepare and enforce the Contractor’s safety program on this contract. The SSHO shall have fulfilled the following pre-requisite training and experiences before being hired as the SSHO under this contract:
The SSHO shall have completed five years of satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing safety programs on contracts of similar size and complexity in the past or three years of experience if he possesses a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or safety and health degree. The SSHO shall have completed the OSHA 30-hour construction safety class or equivalent and maintain competency through 24 hours of formal safety and health related coursework every four years.
