Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
Support bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining environment.
Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing when required.
Skills:
Experience in the food industry is highly desirable; familiarity with café settings is a plus.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast, is an advantage.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Team player mentality with a positive attitude toward collaboration and support of colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
