About Us: Tacotarian is a fast-growing, innovative plant-based Mexican restaurant known for our delicious and high-quality menu. We have a loyal customer base and a strong sense of community, and we’re looking for a dynamic Store Manager to join our San Diego location.
Job Description: As the Store Manager at Tacotarian, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience and that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, maintain our high standards of food quality, and uphold our brand’s reputation. Your proactive approach and excellent organizational skills will be essential in driving the restaurant’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and manage staff to ensure a high-performing team.
Maintain brand standards and ensure the quality of food and service.
Track and manage KPIs, including food costs, liquor costs, labor costs, and other performance indicators.
Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage.
Handle bank deposits and financial reconciliations.
Step in to cover shifts during emergencies.
Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Order supplies and work closely with the kitchen manager to ensure inventory is managed effectively.
Foster positive relationships with regular customers and address issues promptly and effectively.
Promote a fun and positive work environment for all staff.
Qualifications:
-Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. and provide valid working documents
-Must possess a valid and up to date ABC (Alcohol Card) and Food Handlers card.
-At least 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) environment.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Strong leadership abilities with a proactive approach to managing the restaurant.
-Proficiency in using technology for administrative tasks.
-Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
-Ability to handle both administrative duties and floor operations seamlessly.
-Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
