Brian Malarkey's Asian-inspired restaurant is looking for passionate, friendly and hardworking team members!

HIRING POSITIONS-

BOH: Line Cook, Dishwasher

FOH: Bartender, Server, Support

Bartenders:

Must have at least 4 years high-volume experience.

Fine dining experience preferred. Must be available to work weekends.

Servers: 2 years or more fine dining experience. Extensive food, wine, and spirits knowledge preferred.

Must be available to work weekends.

Must follow instruction and prioritize various task

Attention to detail and sanitation standards

Must be able to multitask

Must be able to communicate clearly with guest, servers, managers and kitchen

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds

Line Cooks- at least 1 year experience in high volume restaurant, completely open availability

Generally PM shifts, 3:00-12:00am

Must follow instruction and prioritize various task

Attention to detail and sanitation standards

Ability to work in hot and humid conditions

Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).

Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

Open availability desired. No anticipated needs for time off in the next 6 months.

ABOUT

A coal fired, Asian-inspired interpretation of West Coast Asian cuisine located in Downtown San Diego’s newest luxury condo building. With Partner and Chef Brian Malarkey in the kitchen is Executive Chef Tara Monsod. Design incorporates different narratives throughout the 6,000 square foot restaurant. Inspiration includes ancient Japanese forests and an art deco theater. The menu will feature big umami flavors and a healthy dose of sake and Japanese whisky.
