Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Busser + Barback. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment by maintaining cleanliness, assisting bartenders and operation staff, and providing excellent customer service to our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where you can contribute to creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Clearing and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Clean and set venue, move tables, chairs, heaters, and reset venue
- Monitor and clean restrooms to ensure cleanliness
- Emptying trash during operations
- Closing duties; to include but not limited to resetting tables, chairs, mopping, sweeping, and taking out trash
- Ensure safety protocols are followed for staff and guests
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Providing friendly and attentive service to guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Changing kegs, moving dead kegs, and other bar maintenance duties etc.
- Refill ice bins when needed
- Other tasks as needed to ensure the cleanliness and optimal operation of the venue
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, must be available Wednesday-Sunday
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests of all backgrounds
- Honest and trustworthy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Must be 18+ years of age to apply
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be on their feet for shifts of 4-8 hours
