About the Role:
We’re looking for energetic and dependable kitchen staff to join our cafeteria team at Palomar College. As part of our kitchen crew, you’ll help prepare and serve meals to students and staff, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and contribute to a positive dining experience on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and meal service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food service areas
Stock and organize kitchen supplies
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to follow instructions and learn
Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
