Kitchen Help for Meal Prep Company & Delivery Driver & CATERINGS (San Diego)
Simply G Meals, a San Diego-based meal prep company, is currently seeking kitchen help to join our team. As a kitchen helper, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals for our customers. Your main responsibilities will include:
Food Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of ingredients, such as chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and measuring portions accurately.
Cooking Assistance: Supporting the chefs in cooking and assembling meals according to established recipes and guidelines.
Dishwashing and Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring equipment is properly cleaned.
Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
Quality Control: Participating in quality control measures, such as checking food temperatures, ensuring proper packaging, and maintaining food safety standards.
Collaborative Teamwork: Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Must have a car for on site Caterings.
Requirements:
Prior experience working in a professional kitchen or food preparation setting is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in following recipes and portion sizes.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility with work schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
