Jeune et Jolie is looking for experienced and passionate Servers / Sommelier, to join our driven and dedicated team. We are growing and need some good people who want to grow with us.

ABOUT YOU

We look for people who are creative, hard working, open-minded, and optimistic. We are not looking for someone who only cares about food and drink. We are looking for someone to be part of a team that is equally devoted to the guests who enjoy that food and drink, someone who truly cares about providing those people with both nourishment and nurturing.

We love to find people with experience working in high-level restaurants, but that is not required. What is required is that you are a good person, someone who cares about the success of your colleagues, someone whose confidence is outweighed only by your humility, someone who knows that mistakes are both inevitable and highly instructive.

We love to find people who reflect a diversity of backgrounds and experiences because it makes our work and restaurant culture more dynamic, rich, unique, and ever- evolving. We don’t hire robots who read from scripts. We hire human beings who have deep wells of empathy, the capacity for knowledge, and a dedication to strive for perfection… however unattainable it may be.

So yes, we want our colleagues to be dedicated to the restaurant and hospitality business. But does that mean you need to have all the answers? No. Do you need to want to continually evolve, learn and grow? Absolutely.

Led by Chef Eric Bost (auburn and Republique in Los Angeles, Restaurant Guy Savoy and Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée), Campfire and Jeune et Jolie are distinct and unique restaurants, yet they share a foundation that values quality and hospitality above all else.

Jeune et Jolie (1 Michelin Star) reimagines French food through the vibrant lens of our Southern Californian landscape. Our culinary team utilizes delicious, responsibly sourced products to create seafood and vegetable-centric dishes, which, along with a raw oyster bar, celebrate our pristine surrounding waters and some of the world’s best seasonally-driven produce.

More than anything, Jeune et Jolie is a home for their communities: the communities that gather in our restaurant each evening to provide real hospitality, incredible food and drink, and thoughtful service. And, of course, our restaurant are a home for our community of guests, the ones that join us to gather around the table to enjoy compelling and delicious meals, to share memorable experiences, to have meaningful conversations, to celebrate or to grieve together, to laugh, and to connect. Our hospitality is about genuine concern for others, and the deeply inclusive endeavor to make our guests feel welcome.

ABOUT US

We take a great amount of pleasure and meaning from our work. However humbly, we believe that restaurants and bars can have a significant, lasting effect on a community, its people, and its culture. Restaurants are where we all so often turn to gather, interact and engage. They are where great friends and total strangers meet to share stories, ideas, grief, joy, wit. These places matter.

We believe in what E.M. Statler said so many years ago, "Life is service – the one who progresses is the one who gives his fellow men a little more – a little better service." We are obsessed with hospitality and with service. We are obsessed with the effect providing good food, good drink, and good company can have on a community, and how, in doing so, a restaurant can become a part of that community's story.

And yes, we are very serious about what we do, but try not to take ourselves too seriously, because if it isn’t fun, it isn’t worth doing.
