Responsibilities:
Greeting and engaging guests in a warm and professional manner
Operating reservation system to maximize covers and smooth flow of guests
Coordinating effective flow of guests and staff for a variety of events and high-volume services
Communicating effectively with management, host, and dining room teams
Estimating wait times for guests and maintaining the guest wait list
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the business:
Participate as a team player with other key team members including setting tables, participating in on-site and off-site events, and creative contribution.
Outstanding ability to communicate and make genuine connections
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Maintaining a cordial demeanor when under pressure
Additional duties as necessary and assigned
