Harvest Kitchen is a high-end, successful organic event catering company based in North County San Diego. We cater in Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and Indio nearly every weekend and need some local amazing chefs to join our team to help execute flawlessly!
Must be available Saturdays. And some Friday nights. We do our best to post open shifts on our schedule at least 3 weeks in advance so you can work around your full-time job or schedule.
We offer a mileage reimbursement program to help with costs for traveling to/from events.
You will meet onsite at the venue, help build tray pass apps, build salads, cook proteins, plate, and do whatever the lead chef needs. We take great pride in our work but love to have fun too. Must be a positive team player.
Harvest Kitchen is made up of a team of dedicated creatives, focused on maintaining our 5-star reviews for all our weddings. We work at some of the coolest venues and create amazing food + experiences.
WHAT WE EXPECT
-Must have 2+ years chef experience as a line cook, in a restaurant or preferably in catering.
-Must be polished, professional, fun and easy to get along with.
-You must be dependable, responsible, and have your own form of transportation. Lateness will not be tolerated. Must be able to take initiative with little direction, and be self motivated.
-You will work under our Exec Chef and Sous Chef.
Harvest Kitchen is a scratch kitchen and we do all types of food, using organic local ingredients. Great opportunity to learn new techniques and dishes. We create a positive work environment, we enjoy what we do.
