This role requires weekend availability and the flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook seafood dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Work effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
Assist in inventory checks and stock rotation
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Requirements:
Prior cooking experience, preferably in a seafood or fast-paced restaurant setting
Ability to work weekends (mandatory) and flexible shifts (part-time or full-time)
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
