Job Title: Bartender / Purple Squirrel
Job Description: We're on the hunt for a "purple squirrel" — that ideal team member is someone who works with a great attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. At Jaguar Paw, you'll have a chance to bartend, serve tables, as well as be expected to bus tables, and handle dishwashing during downtime (no dedicated dishwasher here, but all our plates and glasses are small!). We believe in teamwork and operate with a tip-pooling system, so every team member supports each other, and at the end of the night we all win together.
Responsibilities:
Craft and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with a focus on quality and creativity.
Deliver friendly, attentive service that enhances the experience for every guest.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the bar and in shared areas.
Pitch in with bussing tables and cleaning dishes as needed during quieter times.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Contribute to inventory management and ordering when needed.
Work closely with teammates to create a welcoming, lively environment for our patrons.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced setting preferred.
Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology is a big plus.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A true team player who’s willing to wear multiple hats.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Must be 21+ and available to work evenings and weekends.
