Seeking cashier for San Diego’s only dedicated top 10 allergen-free bakery. As a cashier at our bakery safety is our number one goal. You don’t need to have experience in customer service or even with food allergies for this position. What you do need is conversational skills, enthusiasm, great memorization skills, and self-confidence.
This is a weekend morning shift part-time position, the shift runs 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (must be able to work weekends and holidays). The bakery is open Wednesday through Sunday. Compensation is $16.85 an hour + tips(per a bi-weekly pay period). All tips are pooled between all cashiers and split by the number of shifts worked. We offer part-time employees health benefits after 3 months.
Job Duties
-knowing all the top 10 Food Allergens
-being able to answer guest questions with confidence
-upholding all safety protocols with guests in a courteous manner
-cleaning of the FOH area
-taking guest orders in person and over the phone
-answering phone calls
-POS system and cash handling
Job Requirements
- Ability to process and retain verbal as well as written instruction.
- Multitasking is essential
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
-Must be at least 18 years of age or have a work permit
-Be able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
-Lift 50lbs
-Legal to work in the United States
-Must be able to work holidays and weekends
