Debugs and troubleshoots issues or failures, reports results, and may recommend root causes and solutions. Performs set-up, maintenance, and/or repairs of specialized test equipment, and may provide input on equipment selection.Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of testing, measurement, or related work experience.Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of semiconductor, RF testing, or related work experience.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Enhances and executes test plans. Provides feedback to customer on areas for future improvement or efficiency to prevent issues. Helps select specialized test equipment and trains others on set-up, as well as loading and running complex programs or builds. Trains others to perform complex calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of test equipment and tools according to standards and procedures. Identifies issues with test equipment and implements plans for repairs to prevent future issues. Trains others to manage and execute test methodologies for various technology, adapting or developing procedures based on unique testing needs, and documents results. Identifies, debugs and troubleshoots highly complex testing issues or failures. Identifies root causes and independently implements complex solutions. Leads complex analyses to identify where an issue has occurred, makes recommendations for how to address issues, and identifies patterns and implications for work. Works with individuals inside and outside of own function to integrate complex projects and/or ensure changes work with other components of a specific project. Communicates across teams to provide status and information about impending obstacles and implements remediation to prevent future issues. Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for small to mid-sized projects without guidance. Re-scopes projects, identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.Level of Responsibility: Works independently with little supervision. Provides supervision to direct reports. Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role may require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc. Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions). Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework. Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines. Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.
