The Technical Consultant (Routing and Switching) supports the Patient Care and Monitoring business at medical facilities within Southern California, from Santa Barbra area to San Diego. This position is responsible for installing/implementing, servicing, testing and troubleshooting complex solutions on IT networks to ensure high quality of service to deliver real time patient data requirements.Your role:
Building, deploying and/or integrating Philips solutions.
Collaborate on fulfilling technical implementation deliverables such as detailed design documentation, system build, configuration, and testing.
Resolve technical issues and offer proactive technical support.
Documentation of solutions to ensure support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward development.
Represents Philips professionally in both customer and internal team situations.

Located in or near the San Diego area.
CCNP certification required. Manager may consider candidates who can obtain within 6 months from beginning of employment.
BS Computer Science/Biomed disciplines with at least 3-5 years’ experience or AS Computer Science/Biomed disciplines with 5+ years’ experience in Healthcare / IT Technologies.
Microsoft and other certifications are desirable (i.e., MCTS, MCITP, VMWARE)
Knowledge of Patient Monitoring systems preferred.
Experience working in a hospital environment required.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
