This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our product offerings and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant operations experience.ORHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant operations experience with 2+ of those years involving leadership experience.Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience in technology manufacturing or related industry. 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization. 4+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports). 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above). 2+ years of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy for emerging technologies in the PC business, aligned with the company's overall vision and goals. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the emerging technologies landscape. Analyze competitive products and technologies to inform strategic decisions. Manages implementation of and helps develop departmental policies and initiatives to meet operational goals, quality, and cost objectives. Manages complex plans based on project and resource requirements across technical areas. Develops and implements process improvements to increase efficiencies across the department. Tracks and manages metrics and medium-sized budgets to support staffing, equipment, and other operational needs. Escalates issues or deviations in metrics and proposes corrective actions. Leads complex analyses to identify where an issue has occurred, makes recommendations for how to address issues, and identifies patterns and implications for work. Guides others on gathering, integrating, and interpreting information from a variety of sources. Seeks information within and across teams to help identify fundamental patterns/trends and troubleshoot problems. Works with individuals inside and outside of own function to integrate complex projects and/or ensure changes work with other components of a specific project. Communicates within and outside of project team to resolve conflicts in implementation schedules, design or implementation challenges, and other complexities. Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for large and/or multiple projects. Gathers and authorizes resources based on priorities, new product introductions, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Re-scopes projects, identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.Level of Responsibility: Works independently with minimal supervision. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc. Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department. Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
