Senior Software Engineer - Security Center

About the Team:The Security Center team’s mission is focused on providing customers awareness about how secure their ServiceNow product is, as well as insights and tools to take action and remediate holes in their security. We do this by building visualizations that aggregate data sources and show history and trends.  We rely on various ServiceNow platform features to listen on, monitor and ingest this data. What you get to do in this role:   Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.) Work with the product owners and designers to understand requirements and refine scope of workOwn your code from design, implementation, test automation and deliveryCollaborate with your fellow developers, and on other teams, and quality engineering peersContribute to both new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite Shape intuitive user experiences and customer journeys across our product suiteTroubleshoot customer environments and debug codeExplore and integrate ServiceNow AI capabilities into our productsMentor peers and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and engineering excellenceTo be successful in this role you have:A proactive mindset and strong initiativeA collaborative spirit and curiosity to ask questions and learn continuouslyExperience designing, building, and shipping software to production environmentsProficiency in debugging tools and resolving product issuesA track record of supporting customers with critical production issuesExperience mentoring engineers and guiding technical decisionsThe ability to balance individual preferences with team and product prioritiesA reflective approach to work, with interest in integrating AI into workflows and decision-making
