Job Title: Outside MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Outside Machinist who is capable of installing, maintaining, and repairing ship's propulsion and auxiliary systems including, but not limited to Steam, Gas Turbine, and Diesel propulsion systems, rudders and steering gear, elevators, and deck equipment without supervision. The successful candidate will also be skilled in handling the installation, repair, and maintenance of ship's fluid systems such as pumps, compressors, purifiers, heat exchangers, actuators and valves. Additional tasks include testing equipment to ensure systems meet 4E specifications, references and drawings, installing and testing of various shop equipment, and performing other related tasks as assigned.Hard Skills

The shift is a 1st shift from 6 am - 2:30 pm. The successful candidate must be flexible for overtime work Monday - Sunday if ever needed.
