Three years of experience with Systems Engineering and Integration, MBSE and using digital engineering tools to design DoD systems. Experience with architecting solutions from user requirements and use cases to be applied across a systems engineering life cycle. Experience with the practical application of Unified Modeling Language (UML) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML). Ability to conduct model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance and behaviors. Ability to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development. Ability to work eectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government clients to increase the use of MBSE for client acquisitions programs. Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle, and object-oriented programming languages, including C, Java, or Python. Possess DoD Cyberspace Workforce (DCWF) Qualification and Management Program proficiency level of Intermediate or Advanced. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorshp now or at any time in the future

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field

10 years of experience in systems engineering and systems engineering management with defense sector systems with a focus on designing, integrating, and implementing complex weapons systems

5 years of experience of MBSE systems engineering and integration experience with C4ISR projects contributing to Information Assurance, security engineering, systems security architecture or other areas of information security

Proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale DoD systems engineering projects that align with the defense sector

In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices

Experience with Systems Modelling - SysML and UML Tools

Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Preferred:

Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline

Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis tools

DoD program experience working with combat weapon systems engineering

Active TS/SCI Clearance

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,000.
