Material Handler1st Shift$21 per hourJob DescriptionTo receive, verify, locate, scrap, store, and transport material used in the manufacturing process. Execute picks for internal delivery to production cells. Pack, load and unload a variety of conveyances. Conduct audits for 5S and Safety. Move material within the warehouse and manufacturing plant. Ensure that product meets quality specifications. Participate actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs. Notify Supervisor or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc. Operate power industrial equipment (e.g., stand-up, sit-down, and order picker forklift trucks) if needed. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by work area, such as safety glasses, earplugs, hard hats, gloves, and steel toe shoes. Must follow all established company SAFETY processes. Deal with complexity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.Hard Skills
