Firmware Verification & Validation Lead (Hybrid: San Diego, CA)Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics Heart, R&D organization. In this role you will be part of the Global R&D Team for ECG Solutions, reporting to the Verification and Validation Leader ECG Solutions. You will drive the roadmap for system verification and validation across the global teams, Bangalore and USA. You are accountable for product quality, and on-time delivery for all AM&D products.Your role:
Creates and executes verification and validation (V&V) roadmaps to support program/team needs
Consistently delivers high Quality releases at a sustainable speed, delivering full test coverage.
Ensures adherence to all applicable development processes, quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
Contributes to the technical innovation of the product and/or systems which the teams are accountable for by providing insights, hands-on technical reviews, and continuous feedback.
Mentor junior team members: use best in class practices, define processes and review periodically to make sure the team does not deviate from the defined procedures.
Executes on continuous improvement in processes and ways of working to achieve operational excellence.

Bachelor, master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering or relevant technical field.
5+ years of experience in test automation, firmware development and quality assurance via agile practices.
Proficient in development environments and scripting languages like C#, Java, Python.
Good understanding of statistical analysis to determine sample sizes and pass-fail criteria.
Familiarity with requirement management and defect management tools.
Automation experience using HW/FW simulators.
Strong experience in Product/Software Development, and Design Controls within in a medically regulated environment is desired
