Description Job Overview:Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to leverage their financial expertise in a dynamic environment with the potential for long-term career growth. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in our financial planning and analysis (FP& A) processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights. Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, forecasts, and financial models to senior management.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, explaining variances and making recommendations for adjustments.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the financial impact of business decisions, including pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

Data Management & Reporting: Manage large data sets, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Utilize advanced Excel functions and other financial software tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.

Strategic Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and business development, to support strategic planning and execution. Provide financial input on various projects, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and market expansion.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure financial activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Identify and mitigate financial risks through comprehensive analysis and reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, or a similar role, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.

Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting, with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Oracle).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

High level of attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with project management and familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
