Description We are in search of a Finance Manager to join our operation in San Diego, California. The role is pivotal to our industry, as you will be tasked with managing all accounting functions, analyzing financial performance, and maintaining budgets. A key part of the role is to collaborate with senior leadership to execute strategies that align with business objectives. Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting functions, including treasury, state reporting, premium receivable, account payable, GAAP & Statutory Financial reporting Analyze financial performance using KPIs and generate recommendations for enhancements Create, maintain, and analyze budgets, conducting variance analysis by product lines Deliver timely reviews of the organization’s financial status and progress to management Supervise, motivate, and develop team members, managing schedules and workflow Liaise between Finance & Accounting and other departments to ensure smooth coordination Train and develop employees, planning, assigning and directing work Address and resolve any issues or complaints from team members Work in close association with senior leadership to implement strategies in line with business objectives. Requirements Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in 3M software use Extensive knowledge and experience with Accounting Software Systems is necessary ADP - Financial Services proficiency is a must Must be skilled in the use of Concur software Working knowledge of CRM systems is required Ability to perform various Accounting Functions effectively Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is required Familiarity with creating and managing an Annual Budget is essential Auditing skills are necessary for this position Knowledge of Budget Processes is a must Experience with Casualty Insurance is required Property Insurance knowledge is a key requirement for this role Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
