Microscope assemblers needed for Medical Device company in Sorrento Valley!Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing and Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling pipettes using a manual assembly process under a microscope. Your role involves loading glass pieces into the heat packaging for the microscope, shaping and melting the tip of the pipette by transferring heat via a pedal. You will also be cross-trained in automated manufacturing processes. The role requires splitting time evenly between clean room duties and warehouse responsibilities, primarily focusing on inventory control. Work EnvironmentThe work environment consists of a clean room where adherence to gowning procedures is mandatory, including wearing hair nets, washing hands thoroughly, and avoiding excessive makeup, lotions, or perfumes. The position requires wearing long pants and close-toed shoes. The team operates in a new linear workflow model where you will rotate manufacturing stations, focusing on mastering each spot during the initial 30 days. The shift available is the 2nd shift, from 3:30 pm to midnight, with a starting pay rate of $18.50/hr.
