Bilingual Nanny to Three
We are seeking a kind and patient nanny to take care of three young children: 6 year old twins and a 3 year old toddler. This is a full time position and the nanny would provide care for the children at our home in San Diego, CA. The Nanny must be able to perform the following:
1. Communicating effectively with children in Polish and English promoting language development and cultural heritage
2. Provide childcare to three young children between three and nine years old. Must have prior experience caring for twins and nurturing their individuality.
3. Engage children in activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialization inclusive of reading, arts, crafts, music
4. Must be comfortable navigating complex sibling relationships including promoting conflict resolution
5. Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare inclusive of laundry, tidying up, organizing, preparing meals and snacks
6. Drive children to activities including school functions and social engagements - must have an excellent driving record and a US driver's license
7. Provide childcare during regular business hours 7:30-5:30 pm M-F with occasional availability on weekends
8. Must be available to accompany the family during occasional travel including trips abroad.
Qualifications:
1. speak Polish
2. prior experience with twins/multiplets
3. high school diploma or equivalent
4. 12-months experience as nanny.
Other:
1. Temporary, full-time position, 1 opening, term: 10/1/2025-09/30/2026;
2. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30 am-5:30 pm with occasional weekend availability; Hours over 40 h will be compensated at 150% of hourly wage;
3. employer shall use a single workweek as the standard for computing wages; Employee will be paid once/week;
4. Option of room&board at rate of $253. 91/week; All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made
