One of our clients is looking to bring on two Java Engineers for long term contract to hire roles. These roles are 100% remote forever and you'll be developing in Java, SpringBoot, Rest API, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, PostgreSQL, and Jenkins. You'll work on a team of 9, do 70% new development and 100% backend development. You'll work on a high availability B2C SAAS platform that is used by thousands of users and you'll work on complex problems involving scalability. They're looking to expand the platform, add many new features and do a complete re-haul of the platform so you'll have a lot of visibility in the work you do. This long term contract to hire role will last around 2+ years and it'll be fully remote. For the duration of your contract, you'll receive medical benefits through us, dental, 401K, paid sick time, overtime, weekly pay and a health savings account! They have a very quick interview process and they're looking for engineers who have strong problem solving skills and strong Computer Science fundamentals. This role can pay up tp $90 an hour for the right candidate.
Required Skills & Experience- At least 5+ years of professional development experience in Java
- Experience with SpringBoot, Rest API, Microservices
- Any experience with AWS or Azure is a plus
- Someone with strong Object Oriented Programming skills
- Someone who has strong Computer Science fundamentals
- Someone who has worked on problems of scale is a huge plus
