THE JOB
We are interested in people who are passionate about helping others in need. Lead Direct Support Professionals assist the Administrator with:
. Resident Care
-Overseeing daily routines and inspiring residents to make positive choices
-Monitoring residents and home at all times for health and safety
-Maintaining a positive and clean environment through household duties and cooking
-Ensuring correct distribution of medications and driving residents on community outings
-Building positive relationships that are both professional and supportive
-Various other duties
. Administrative Assistance
-Maintaining daily paperwork and organizational systems
-Setting a positive example for other DSPs
-Ensuring State & Company standards are always met
-Communicating daily with the Administrator and assisting with various other duties
REQUIREMENTS
- Open availability and flexibility, as the hours reflect the needs of the clients
- DSP I and DSP II certification through Community Care Licensing (www.dsptrain.org)
- Criminal background check
- Physical with TB test clearance
- Full COVID vaccination with booster, or exemption certificate
- Drivers License, driver’s insurance and clean driving record (the job requires occasional driving)
