Fleur De Lis School is a well-established preschool program (since 1929!) in Mission Hills/Hillcrest area with an outstanding reputation, long waiting list, large outdoor playgrounds, and long-time staff. Our teachers are our greatest assets and we treat them well! We are looking for a Preschool Support Teacher to join our team, working with children 2 to 5 years old. The hours for the position are 9:00am-5:30pm. The employee will be eligible for sick time, free tuition for children, vacation time, health and dental benefits (full-time employees only).
Qualified candidates must have:
A minimum of 6 ECE (child development) units completed from the following courses: Child Growth and Development; Child, Family and Community; one curriculum course and continuing educations to complete 12 ECE units.
Valid CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to complete upon hire.
Current fingerprint (no exemptions) and TB clearance or willingness to complete upon hire.
Warm, supportive, and cooperative attitude toward co-workers, children, and families.
