We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team and help create a fun, educational, and nurturing environment for young children. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lessons, assist with daily activities, and promote positive social and emotional development for children ages 4 months-2.5years.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in creating and delivering engaging educational activities
Supervise children during classroom, outdoor, and lunch times
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
Support children in their emotional and social development
Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to the lead teacher
Help with classroom management and behavior guidance
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and daily activities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
12 units in Early Childhood Education and at least 3 of those units Infant/Toddler (Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred)
Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred
Passion for early childhood education and child development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, compassionate, and able to work with children in a group setting
Ability to pass a background check and any state-required certifications
