Watch Security is a 24/7 coverage of observation and reporting. The watch is responsible for assisting in daily operations of the museum. Watch staff is the customer service foreword person to keep the museum guests and faculty under observation. Utilizing strong communication skills to be proactive about any guest and staff concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and conflict resolution experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Observe and report
Opening and closing procedures of all vessels
Walking all vessels and monitoring guest activity
Responding to emergencies and documenting
Giving breaks to ticket and gift shop sales locations.
Cash counting as needed.
Report and record all Incidents.
Helping other departments as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma
1yr customer service
Proactive Problem solving
Ability to learn security equipment, register software and proactive problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Being able to sit, walk, and or stand for extended periods
Lifting and moving 25-50lbs
Ability to handle and operate equipment such as radios, cameras, or security devices.
Skills and Competencies:
Comfort with point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash registers, and payment terminals.
Being able to complete tasks every day without supervision.
Work Environment:
Tourism and Event venue setting.
