Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience in product management.

2 years of data analysis experience.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.

Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI), Legal, Customer Success, etc.

Experience with SQL, data modeling and commerce related products.

Excellent written and verbal communication, and investigative skills.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.In this role, you will work on features for users to manage their YouTube purchases, including user experiences to view, manage, renew, cancel, pause, and upgrade subscriptions and other products. You will also work on communications relating to the purchase lifecycle, be it a renewal anniversary, an offer to upgrade, or a price change. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Collaborate with User Experience (UX), Engineering and cross-functional peers to manage a product strategy and roadmap for YouTube’s purchase management features and communications systems, across YouTube’s surfaces.

Work with YouTube’s paid Product teams (e.g. YouTube Premium) and Surfaces (e.g. Main App, Living Room, YouTube TV) to align on plans, execution, launches and measurement.

Become the expert on current and upcoming regulations and compliance requirements, as they relate to your scope, and influence clients for the roadmaps accordingly.

Partner with Customer Support teams to provide features, data and documentation that help them deliver seamless and performant services.

Own the aggregate metrics and storytelling about YouTube’s paid customer base, across products.
