We offer care expert staff and state-of-the-art equipment to meet the growing needs of our community and are committed to the values of dignity collaboration justice stewardship and excellence.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesPerforms the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care for patients with overt and covert needs, appropriate to patient age. Assists with managing the patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff. Assumes responsibility and accountability of total patient care and relief charge nurse duties. This position treats/cares for patients of all ages. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

Evaluating patients presenting complaint at triage

Assessing and identifying actual or potential health problems

Communicating information to the physician about patient concerns/needs

Identifying needed nursing regimen; executing nursing regimen through the selection, performance, management and evaluation of nursing action

Assessing health status for the purpose of providing nursing care, providing health teaching and/or home care instructions

Providing care based on patient's and /or significant others age and level of growth and development

Administering medications, treatments and executing regimens prescribed by licensed physicians

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in California

Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

6 months or more of acute care experience

MICN - within 6 months of hire

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)

Pay Range$61.04 - $76.92 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
