- Coordinates interdepartmental, interdisciplinary process/performance improvement initiatives
- Facilitates multiple performance improvement teams, including evaluating processes to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Designs and conducts special PI projects as required
- Independently manages daily workflow and workload for multiple projects
- Assists organizational staff with development and implementation of process improvement initiatives
- Assists in definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, and budget
- Project liaison between Magnet Department and other stakeholders from inception to closeout.
- Manages project recordkeeping and closes out projects when all requirements have been met and all costs have been recorded
- Develops data collection forms/processes; Collects and analyzes data related to performance of processes and staff, and adherence to established policies/procedures
- Supports data processes managed by the Magnet Department including work in NDNQI, Press Ganey, HealthStream, and other databases
- Supports the development and dissemination of unit dashboards, data displays, and data visualization boards.
- Other tasks as assigned
- Bachelors' Degree required
- 3+ years' experience in performance improvement
- Certified Project Manager required
- Healthcare experience is a plus
