Providence Technology Group is seeking an experienced Business Solutions Analyst (BSA) with detailed knowledge and experience with the State of California’s PeopleSoft implementation, FI$Cal. The successful candidate will join a high-functioning team of professionals working with a State of California client. The BSA will collaborate with the team and client in creating SQL queries that provide needed functionality. As well, the BSA will work on a team to develop a document to assist in transitioning to the FI$Cal system. The successful candidate must be able to work onsite in Sacramento for the first 6 weeks of their employment and may be able to transition to partial telework after that. The successful candidate will meet ALL the mandatory qualifications and as many of the desirable qualifications as possible:
Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrable experience with State of California project work3+ years of experience with SQL queries5+ years of experience with PeopleSoftStrong work ethic, interpersonal and collaborative skillsDemonstrable experience writing user and system documentation.2+ years of experience working directly with end-clients in defining requirementsAbility to work onsite in SacramentoHighly Desirable QualificationsDemonstrable experience with FI$CalExcellent oral and written communication skillsWork effectively as a team player or independentlyExperience with Business Process Re-engineering or Organizational Change ManagementDemonstrable experience providing technical support and training to end usersBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/collegeThis is a backfill position and requires approval by the client. The position will run for at least 12 months.This is a relatively fast-paced environment where a proactive approach is appreciated. Candidates will be asked for references and sample work products.
