We are seeking an experienced carpenter to step into a lead role on our team. This position is ideal for someone with extensive hands-on expertise who can also oversee projects and lead a crew with precision and excellence. We specialize in residential remodels and new construction in the greater Sacramento area and are looking for a seasoned professional to help us deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality carpentry work across multiple trades (framing, finish carpentry, drywall, siding, fencing, flashing, painting, minor electrical, minor plumbing, etc.).
Oversee and manage small crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed efficiently and up to our standards.
Create and maintain a detailed schedule prioritizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Order and facilitate material handling.
Create a strong team environment within the company and with subcontractors.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and timelines.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of hands-on carpentry experience.
Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams.
Proficiency in multiple trades.
Own tools and reliable transportation.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
