We are a small METAL FABRICATION SHOP looking for reliable and experienced (8+ years) welder/fabricator that can read prints, calipers, and is skilled in welding thinner gages of steel, stainless, and aluminum (14ga +/-). Applicants should be detail oriented, possess reliable transportation, and have a positive attitude towards growth and maintaining deadlines. This is a static, indoor facility in Rancho Cordova that works four ten-hour days Monday-Thursday, with a likelihood of OT on Friday's. This is not a travelling position.
Qualifications:
Must know how to read prints/drawings and understand weld callouts
Must be experienced in welding steel, stainless, and aluminum, from 14ga through 1/4inch
Read calipers and know how to measure using Math to four places (thousandths)
Possess skills to accurately cut, bevel, measure/locate, tack, and weld to print, start to finish
Dependability, attendance & punctuality are paramount
Able to communicate clearly, both written and verbally
Must be able to stand, lift, squat, and move throughout the day
Applicants must be capable of high level detail work
