Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in bicycle and eBike maintenance. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that bikes are safe and operational.
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical problems in bikes and determine the necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tune ups, brake repair, and tire rotations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assemble and disassemble bike components as needed for repair or replacement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their bike issues and repair options.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bike Mechanic or Service Technician
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various bike and systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
-Customer service and/or sale experience not required but a bonus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: Part time 20 – 30 per week, flexible schedule
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
Service technician experience: 1 year (Required)
