Position: Assistant Project Manager
Job Description:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support our project management team and gain experience in both project oversight and estimating duties. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in project planning, subcontractor coordination, and oversight during bidding and construction phases
Collaborating with field managers on RFIs and change orders throughout project build-outs
Handling production-related tasks such as procurement and logistics, as True Line self-performs portions of each job
Involvement in estimating support, contributing to bid preparation and cost analysis
Working directly with clients, architects, and engineers, with direct reporting to the Lead Project Manager
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction office setting, with exposure to project management; estimating experience is a plus
Proficiency in reading and interpreting project specifications and design drawings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PDF editing
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., BuilderTrend, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore) is a plus; training available
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
Positive attitude with an eagerness to grow in the industry
College coursework in Construction Management is a plus
